Deconstructed Typography
This collection by artist Natalie Schorr breaks language apart to reveal its limits. Fragmented typography suggests words without delivering them, creating a space where meaning feels present but unreachable. What should communicate instead resists clarity.
The work reflects a polarized America in which language is abundant but understanding is scarce. Opinions are fixed, repeated, and visually familiar, yet they fail to connect. By denying legibility, these pieces mirror conversations that no longer move beyond entrenched positions, asking viewers to consider what is lost when seeing replaces listening.
