The fifth of the series - The Drolleries - this piece is a mixed media surrealist analog collage that features ephemera, linocuts, ball point pens, markers, colored pencils, acrylic, and Krink paint pens.

Drolleries were small images in the margins of illuminated manuscripts that often depicted part animal/part human figures doing weird, funny, or even sexually suggestive things. This one is, obviously, much larger and more fun. A great choice if you’re heading to the Met Gala.
