Natural Women started with an image prompt from the Paris Collage Collective. The image was of one of the trees, and I was thinking about climate change and all the eco-action stuff in the late 1960s and early 1970s, when I was a kid. I created these “natural women” to represent the early climate activists of my youth, unafraid to get out there and speak up for the environment.
