It’s New Year’s Day, and I just finished this piece. Last year was a good year, and I’m looking forward to an even better year this year. (Sits quietly, waiting for the other shoe to drop.) Funny how I catastrophize when really every day life gets better. Or maybe I just get more grateful for the life I’ve had, especially since I’ve just hit 62 and have enjoyed my first phone consultation with Social Security. Woo hoo!
