This piece started with an image of a spiral staircase, and took off from there. The background consists of pages from a book from the very early 1800s that features some amazing typography, which of course was all hand set at that time. Some of it is really tiny, and I can only imagine setting it all with tweezers and a magnifying glass. Yes, I see you glazing over, thank you very much.
