I can’t remember when was the last time I received a love letter. It was probably high school or early college. I’ve received “Dear John” letters in the intervening decades, but not a love letter. Of course, if I mentioned it to my friend, he would likely turn to me with a glazed over look and mutter “Huh?” before turning back to the TV sporting event of the moment. No one seems motivated toward romance anymore. I wonder why that is?
